Mums and Bubs is a 40 minute clinical exercise class for postnatal mums at least 6 weeks postpartum who have received clearance to exercise from their relevant Health Practitioner (this can be a physiotherapist, GP etc). Bubs are welcome until approx. 6 months of age or until they are a ‘fast mover’.
Physio led classes
Formerly known as Clinical Pilates, our classes are taken by qualified Shepparton physiotherapists, experts in movement and injuries
Small classes
Our classes sizes are up to a maximum of 6 people, to optimise supervision and progression
$35/class
Private health rebates may apply.
Reformer and Mat
Our classes are a mix of both Reformer and Mat exercises. We find this the best mix to get the most out of your body

Why choose physio-led Pilates for your postpartum return to exercise?
Our physios have extra training in Women’s Health and understand the changes your body has gone through since pregnancy and giving birth
Classes are tailored for postnatal mums – we’ve selected exercises that we know are safe for your core and pelvic floor, and will help get your body stronger at the right pace and intensity
Our classes give you a platform to address common postpartum issues like pelvic floor concerns, abdominal separation and back pain (which are all really common postpartum and can be assessed and managed by a physiotherapist!) – you can discuss with the physio taking your class before you begin in our classes, or at any point during the term
With our expertise in Clinical Pilates, we can modify exercises for your body’s needs, ensuring a safe and effective class for everyone
HOW TO JOIN A CLASS

After this, we will send you an online new patient form to complete to help our physiotherapist understand your medical history, birth/pregnancy history and post-partum recovery.
2. Purchase class pass and grip socks
3. Come to class each week for the term dates
Make sure to bring: sweat towel, Pilates grip socks, drink bottle, and your baby!
Not sure if you are ready to start yet?
No problem! Contact us when you feel ready to start, and we’ll check class availability for the remainder of the term.
If you would like a postnatal assessment before you return to exercise, book an appointment with one of our physios and they can guide you on when to start exercising or enter a class.
